​I hand-blow all the beads used in my hollow glass jewellery, this is a magical process of creating two discs of glass on a steel rod and easing them together until the glass fuses all round the seam, then heating up the trapped air inside the glass to inflate it! Hollow beads are much lighter and more comfortable to wear than solid glass, making chunky glass jewellery comfortable.
